Well, I find it hard to believe he would have a dance in hell of winning. He has garnered nothing but negative press. He could also just be collecting as a form of "pay for play" while he is still on the council as president.

Exactly. With a "strong mayor" system and a consent agreement there is no need for them to be full time anymore either. I would make them part-time, cut their pay in half and their staff budgets by 70% or so.
