    Default Highland Park General Hospital

I was told I was born there, but can't remember where it was located. AnyDYes members know where it was located? I believe it's been torn down now.

I was born there too. It is currently an apartment building for seniors.

Same here. Born there and went looking for it several years ago.

It is located between Glendale and Leslie Streets and John Lodge Freeway and Lincoln St. The front is on Glendale and the back is on Leslie.

My brother was born there also.

Yes, the building is easily visible from the Lodge Freeway. I believe it is still in use as a seniors apartment complex.

I think Attorney Jeffrey Fieger was born there.

I was born there too! I believe it is now called Bella Vista or something like that...and it is a low-income senior apartment building.

Question...there is a Lincoln St. in New Center and one in Highland Park near the hospital. Did the new John Lodge Freeway eliminate Lincoln St. or was the freeway built along the old Lincoln St. route?

My grandmother was born there in '22 and my dad and his siblings were born there between '47 and '59.
