Detroit Products

Hi,

I'm new to the forum, but have been reading it forever. Recently I started writing for a blog about Detroit and I had the idea of doing posts about "Detroit Originals" - products & businesses with a Detroit connection. So far I've put the following on my post list:

Alinosi Ice Cream
Better Made Chips
Town Club Pop
Faygo
Red Pelican Mustard
Velvet Peanut Butter
Germack Nuts

I didn't include Sanders or Vernors because though they are still around they are more well known than the above. So if you have any product suggestions that are Detroit originals and are still around today, please let me know, that includes businesses. Also do you have any favorite mom & pop stores that have been around forever?

Vlasic pickles started in Detroit, but have been sold a number of times since their beginning.
