The Showdown in Motown is a Detroit talent showcase with prizes ranging from $1,000 to $100. Celebrity judges will rate the performances with audience participation and pick the winners.

I went to the Showdown last year. It was a great time. All the artists I talked to were extremely happy to have performed for a great cause. One of the organizations gave their winnings back to the organization.
