Born and raised in Detroit in July 1944. Grew up on East side in the Georgia - Miller area. Went to Cooper Elementary, Burroughs Junior High and Cass Tech High School. Lived on Carrie Street 3 blocks from the Plymouth plant on Mt. Elliot and 5 blocks from the Packard Plant. Great memories growing up in Detroit. Before working at Chrysler for 42 years at Highland Park and Auburn Hills I worked at a Sunoco station on Mt. Elliot and Miller for 3 years. Plus had odd jobs before that at the Federals warehouse on 6 mile and various gas stations.
