    Default American Polish Festival July 6,7 and 8

    If you are looking for great polish food. piwo [[beer) and great polka bands stop by this weekend.

    Have you ever tried Polish Nacho's, Polish Sliders, Pierogis
    also Fried Bologna sandwich and a Polish Wrap
    Then stop at Polish Grub in the Corner.

    Very interesting... thanks for the info!

    It's interesting to see that there is a pattern here that both ethnic Germans and Poles have in common.

    Both had club houses on either side of the train tracks where Conner Ave. turns into E. Outer Drive....

    Both had nice large festivals at Hart Plaza back in the 1980s....

    By 2000 both their festivals had migrated to Freedom Hill County Park on Metro Parkway.... but eventually that became very costly....

    And now both have their festivals on the grounds of their clubhouses.... the Polish at the American Polish Century Club... and the Germans at Carpathia Club, also in Sterling Heights, but on Utica Rd. at Plumbrook.

    The Polish and German parallel diaspora's continue...

    Im just glad they keep this thing going, its interesting and fun.
    Hopefully they dont have any problems this year, I think it was last year when somebody stole the Kishka.
