Surviving Business Districts In Detroit

And was wondering...what other areas would Detroiters consider as surviving business districts within the city. Outside of Downtown/Midtown/Eastern Market, Vernor in SW came to my mind.

The 7 Mile/Livernois and Harper Rd business districts spring to mind. Not to mention the Grand River/Southfield area near Rosedale Park [[Grandland etc...). They're all over the place.

Poor photograph choice of a Detroit Urban Prarie. That was the site of the Studebaker Factory, and is now Southwest Housing Solutions Piquette Square for Veterans. No Prarie there.

7 mile just west of Evergreen. Of course, its main anchor is a strip mall.

Warren ave. from Wyoming to Greenfield should be a model of what Detroit could be. Yes this is Dearborn but there could be many more districts with thriving business in a mix of new and old buildings.
