Default What do you shoot ?

I like to go to the gun range about once a month and shoot and was curious who else enjoys going to the Range and what gun you like to shoot ?
My favorite gun is my Glock 30sf .45 caliber I will shoot a few boxes with that then shoot my Ruger Mark 3 .22 caliber because it is very in expensive to shoot.
    I also have a Ruger .380 bodyguard and a smith&wesson 442 .38 special.

I only shoot my HK USP Compact .45 and my SIG P229 40cal. Definitely need to get something that shoots cheaper ammo, because both of those calibers are pricey.

I currently don't own a handgun, I been shooting a few different S&W .40s lately, and I have liked the feel. I've tried the smith & wesson Sigma, which is, so far, on my short list for purchase. I've tried the Hi-Point, which surprised me and may be the best deal ever for a handgun at around $165. It's kind of chunky though, and feels it. tried a taurus, but the model was too small for my giant hands, something called a CZ, which I've never heard of [[but liked, also short listed but I have to find out more about CZ-USA) and a sig that costs over a grand. I'd like to try a Steyr , a Beretta, a glock, a Ruger [[last hand gun I owned was a Ruger) and maybe a H&K or Springfield

I don't carry a gun. LOL! But I have done some open range shooting with a borrowed Mossberg Bantam-size 500 20-gauge, PUMP action! Perfect shot gun for light hunting or 'in-the-house' gun for a woman! Compact and light!

Loading rounds does not pinch your fingers like a Remington tends to do... Hah!

    Yeah .. it's nice!
I have only fired it about a half dozen times. It's for home protection.
Honestly by the time I got it out of the case, got the trigger lock off & loaded it & had it ready to fire I'd probably already be dead.

But you have to be safe when there's kids in the house.
It has to be kept safely.

If no kids around you could just stand it in a corner... no case, throw an old blanket over it... loaded but locked. A bit of dust wont hurt a Mossberg!

Low maintenance... Well almost... all guns should be cleaned/ oiled from time to time.

The thing with a pump action shotgun is that the mere sound of one being cocked should freak out anyone who isn't in your house legitimately

Well anyone with brains!! The one thing about a shot gun is that even an less than accurate aim can do some damage to an assailant in your home! Nearby walls too!
