I saw it and was very moved The story about the woman who is a partner in Humble Design was especially moving . If you have a chance I would check it out .
All the stories were inspiring , form the Deaf rapper, the the woman at humble design helping the single mother of 4 ,with the 14 year old pregnant daughter, to the woman who is a DJ and big sister to little girls to the comic who is fighting cancer, to the Russian singer, all the stories were very moving and telling .
I was going to start this thread first, but was busy over the weekend .
I caught the show on Friday night on ovation at 10pm and was happy to see Detroiters in such a good light.
I'm looking forward to next weeks show .

Pity we can't rise to building roads in the "Motor City" that are suitable for racing cars on successfully. Those "repair" strips were [[are) a joke.

I caught about 15 minutes of it. While it was shot in Detroit, and highlighted some Detroiters, it could have been based in any major city. It was more about people and didn't have much to do about Detroit IMO. Pass.

@ Mallory I thought the same thing , but what I felt made it different is, Detroit is the one major city in the country that seems to be struggling more than most and Detroit seems to have attracted the attention of the country as the poster child of what NOT to do as a big city and how even though it seems everyone is leaving there are some that see something positive in these tough times .
Also everyone LOVES a comeback kid and it's seems some people in the country are truly interested in Detroits come back .
