At point blank range - middle of the day... Just crazy!

From article: Police are looking for 2 dangerous men tonight after they fired guns at a Wayne County Sheriff's Deputy at close range. The deputy was part of an undercover sting operation at the Marathon gas station at 7 Mile and Biltmore in Detroit.

What reporting! A sting? Could we have a little more on what they were doing?

Good enough to know they were on the job, unless it was ONLY to grab the low-level weed dealers. Either way, glad this officer is ok, it should've been much worse.

The sheriff also runs a moving undercover speeding operation, which I've seen a few times on I-94 in the city. Plain SUVs that you'd never suspect until they light up like christmas trees.
