    Nice shot of Continental Motors. Many members of my family worked there over the years. My dad worked there as a teenager during the run-up to WWII. After he was fired from his first job at Hudson Motors, he simply walked a few hundred feet and got another job immediately. And since his family lived on Algonquin just south of Jefferson in those years, he could easily walk to work [[which didn't stop his teenage self from being occasionally late).

    My aunt, who was an artist, made several paintings of that smokestack in her series of paintings of Detroit factory buildings. One hung in her dining room on Lakewood for several years.

    Manufactured by Avery Patterson & Company
    Marsh passed away at a young age, this is the only standing design I have found of his in the city.

    Designed by G. Frank Cordner for Maurice Fox. Maurice Fox Building 2818-2820 East Grand Boulevard built 1928-1929 Jam Handy/North End-East Grand Boulevard Historic District, Detroit, MI.

    The building was built in two stages with the eastern half started in August of 1928 and the western half started in November of 1928.
    Currently a commercial block.

    Possibly the worst remuddling in the City of Detroit.

    A George V. Pottle chalet hiding in plain sight. I have driven by this house numerous time but never noticed it until I found a cite in the Freep.

    Bauckham was one of Albert Kahn's "moonlighters." One of several staff architects of the firm I have found designing residences around the metro area.
