The museum is moving to the new Biological Sciences Building, and this building will be renovated for classrooms and meeting space for the Regents. At some point, the building was named after former UM president Alexander Ruthven.

Notice that the cornice survived the great cornice chop of 1958.
The renovation of the Hemmeter Building is almost complete! An overlooked gem, for sure.
