Any info on this house at the corner of Byron and Chicago Blvd in Boston-Edison? About 10 years ago a friend of mine was interested in moving to the area and we checked out a lot of B-E houses. This one always stuck with me. It was in terrible condition, open to anyone who wanted in, big holes in the floors, etc. It appears to be in better shape these days. The current owner demo'd what I thought had been a sun room on the south side of the house, but now appears on Google street view to have maybe been a garage? I swear I remember that part being surrounded by huge windows.

I have been looking for any info on 1405 Chicago Blvd. for several years. Unfortunately the info keeps eluding me.

Newberry was a member of the investment group that brought Packard to Detroit from Warren, OH.
The automobile in the image is a Packard 901 eight, ninth series, 8-cylinder, 110-horsepower, 129.5-inch wheelbase, 5-person sedan [[body type #503).

From The American Architect, 1920. The picture is identified as "House of James H. Newberry..." I'm guessing it's just a mistake in the name. The front of the house is at the top of the drawing of the floor plan.
