I read once that William Kuni designed 1,500 homes in the Detroit area. I have only been able to find a handful.

The contents of the home will be auctioned off in July, if I remember correctly there will be an open house/preview on July 8th. A good time to see this Louis Kamper design in Grosse Pointe.

You're coming out with an amazing amount of info beyond the architects we normally hear about. This looks like years of research? Thanks for putting it out there - great work!

Any background by chance in your stash on Windsor properties? This one stood on Riverside Drive between Pratt Pl and Strabane facing Belle Isle, in an area west of Walkerville called Ford City. I know it as Tom Chick's house, but it is also known as the Walter McGregor house, and was torn down in the 70's to extend the waterfront park. Extending west from this site are a stretch of about 5 large interesting houses still standing on the River's edge.

Thx for your support!! I have some info on Windsor including the architects that C. Howard Crane partnered with in Windsor but I have not been able to do much research with time and travel constraints. I need to move forward on Oakland Co. then will take on my neighbors to the south. Thx for the info, Windsor has so many great properties that need to be cataloged. By the way my research for the most part and exempting Indian Village started a year ago last May. Gotta love all the new forms of communication!

Well done in a year and thanks for sharing the information. Really interesting to see the architects matched with their work.

Keeping up with the Edgemont Park theme. An architect I never heard of until I came across his name in relation to this home. A design from Lucien Bouttelgier.
