Liking the school series - used to be brutalist modern concrete one somewhere on the west side near the river i think with either sloped/canted or curved flared out walls. Haven't been able to find a pic - am I imagining it?

The fact that M&H didn't do many houses, and that this is such an exceptionally fine facade [[is the interior as fine - does anyone know?) that one wonders if Wirt Rowland had any hand in the design. Was he still at Malcomson & Higginbotham when this was designed?

The interior is outstanding one the grandest staircases in the city. The carriage house has a 20 plus foot balcony over looking the backyard. I will have to ask the owner if Rowland was involved with the design.

Thanks for this pic and info! I too am a Clark Elementary kindergarten alum as are my four younger siblings, one of whom may have been in your class.
