    That house has not aged well, at least to my non-professional eyes. Looks like every other 1960's house in coastal Orange County [[CA).

    This design of this building has long been attributed to Louis O. Keil, and I was very surprised when I found the article in the Detroit Free Press this past week.
    Designed by E. R. Dunlap & Clarence W. Palmer. Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2411 Iroquois built in 1913 Indian Village Historic District, Detroit, MI. Includes an article featuring the church from the April 27, 1913 edition of the Detroit Free Press.

    Builder: Mallow Brothers
    Interior furnishings and stained glass designed by Louis O. and Arthur Keil.
    Cornerstone placed: April 27, 1913
    Currently Iroquois Avenue Christ Lutheran Church.
    Louis O. Keil and Henry C. Malow were members of the congregation.

    That was my mother-in-laws church. She was born and grew up in a home kitty corner from Roma Cafe. I believe it was torn down, along with entire neighborhoods, when the freeway was being built. The new church was built on metro parkway in Clinton Township. Absolutely, no comparison to the old. Thank you for sharing. I've never seen a photo of the original church.
