WSU: Man in 50's gets pushed off bike, which was stolen by man in 20's.

A young bike thief made off with the bike of a man who apparently has already been down on his luck. He'd been scavenging for tobacco. Here's the WSU Alert:

To All Wayne State University Students, Staff and Faculty:
Special Crime Alert: Unarmed Robbery Incident

The following information is provided to alert WSU students, staff and faculty, as well as area residents, about this crime incident so that they may take additional precautions in the area.

At approximately 8:00pm on Monday, May 21, 2012 a 57 year old non-WSU male reported he was the victim of a Unarmed Robbery incident on Ferry Mall east of Gullen Mall.

The victim reported he was collecting cigarette butts in the area when he was pushed off his bicycle by the below described person. The offender made no threats and simply rode off on the victims bike after pushing him to the ground. Taken was the victim's Magna bicycle, black in color.

Description: One black male, in his 20's, wearing a black tee shirt with white writing on it.
