  1. Default Mystery Death at Detroit Harmnony Hilton

    Conflicting reports...

WXYZ 7 says she took her life savings in cash and checked in after bickering with her husband.

DETROIT [[WXYZ) - There are mysterious circumstances surrounding the death of a Westland woman.

Lydia Cohn, 77, was found dead in the pool and spa area of the Hilton Garden Inn in downtown Detroit Sunday afternoon.

The discovery was made by hotel staff.

Cohn's family members tell 7 Action News when they arrived at the hotel, they found all of her belongings but the money was gone.

They say Ms. Cohn had taken her life savings, $43,000 in cash, and checked-in to the hotel for a short getaway after bickering with her husband.

Sorry for her if she had just won all that money only to die the same day.
WWJ reported she won at the casino, of course their source was probably Fox.
Isnt it amazing how these stories evolve, shows how in the ectronic age the news media is so quick for a scope they cant get the story right.

Maybe she went to danny's and blew it all on strippers?
She was a gambler, maybe she won $10K but spent $43k to win it?

Both stories stink, as in what happnd to the woman and the way it happened seems fishy.

But I'm more inclined to believe WXYZ's story. Besides that, WJBK's finst pulled their story.
