Yeah, and if that had happened in Detroit, the AP and other services would have spread it all over the country....and beyond.

Yeah, like before the Pistons killed the Laker's, Jimmy Kimmel said he didn't want Detroit to win because we'd burn the city down.

I guess he should have looked in his own backyard. I heard on Jim Rome today that Kobe even was in a commercial before the win telling the fans to celebrate sensibly, guess the fans missed that memo.

Now the liberals can see what media bias and double standards mean.

This entire thread is moronic. The story was the front page of the NY Times and the Chicago Tribune. This is another example of "Detroiters" whining. Get over yourselves.

I beg to differ. I specifically searched the NY Times before posting.

That's ridiculous. You can be happy about a championship without rioting.

Most cities don't have rioting after a championship win.

I just Googled the story, and 4550 news items showed up....

Dj72...didn't get the memo on the upcoming ABC love fest at the White house where they refuse to sell commercial time to those holding a dissenting opinion?

What about the Fox News love fest with any propaganda put out by the right?

What about most talk radio's love fest with anything thats anti Obama?

So that pretty much makes it a draw, yet wing nuts still falsely claim all media is left wing biased.

And I'd be curious to see where ABC said they wont sell air time to the opposing P.O.V., especially since many of their radio stations carry Rush, Hannity, etc.

Don't hold your breath for a link or verifiable fact from Cc, according to him, he is always right.

I'll give him that, although, he means only "right-wing" .

Ever watch Fox? Notice the ever present dissenting opinion presence?

oh, yes, i have watched. 90% of the time, they barely let the "dissenting opinion" get a word in edgewise, the other 10% of the time, it's a phoney "dissenting opinion"
