I found a new home for an old website which is sort of under construction but near completion. Since I've been suspected of spamming with the goodluckwith.us site, try this one: http://detroitpix.crocserve.com/

It looks like it has been "under construction" for the last decade. The pics are at least that old, too.

It also looks like something straight out of 1996! Maybe he just needs to add a few more animated .gifs or a box that displays the weather.

    Save the Cadillac hotel?

What good website isn't constantly being updated, thus "under constructuction"? This website has over 4000 files and in a way documents the rise of Detroit from the start of the new millenium, After spending a short amount of time on the site, I see you've made your criticism. And yes, we were among the many who were instrumental in saving the Cadillac hotel.

Ummm, that bright day glow green text is a winner... Looks a bit 'Front-Page' style layout and there are some sites still out there running designed in Front Page set up but at least UPDATE the site..... which includes having an archive area for older things.

The entire site is done in notepad and is updated daily. The site is 85% old stuff. Hit "Pic 'o the Day" once there, hit "Previous Pic 'o the Day" to travel backward in time back to July 2001. This would take the greater part of 2-3 days to see the whole thing. Sorry 'bout the 6 year hiatus. I'm working on a new look as we speak so stay tuned.

Norton Semantec is reporting about the crocserve link thus: "This is a known malicious web site."

If you're not trying to do harm, you'd better ensure that you're not being set up as a fall guy for someone who is.

Anything norton pics up time to have an application that actually knows what to do scan it. Do not let Norton within a 1000 miles of your computer the worst application you can install!!

That's why I no longer use the croc 'o s#!t site only as a redirect. Norton also accuses the http://detroitpix.goodluckwith.us/ site of being spamware, but this is ridiculous. It only looks at the goodluckwith.us extension and deems it to be spamware. There are no such files on the server.

Why don't you get a site thats respectable ... some of those have website tools built in to it like go daddy ... here one I've belonged to for 10 years and hosted by go daddy
    http://www.community-feedback.com/

Or even Yuku [[not much exposure on the net) here's my site [[mostly closed to the public)
    http://canadausatopics.yuku.com/

    Check out Wordpress
In other words try a website that doesn't set off everyone's bells and whistles on their pc
