WASHINGTON, March 31 [[Reuters) - More than half of U.S. doctors now favor switching to a national health care plan and fewer than a third oppose the idea, according to a survey published on Monday.

The survey suggests that opinions have changed substantially since the last survey in 2002 and as the country debates serious changes to the health care system.

Of more than 2,000 doctors surveyed, 59 percent said they support legislation to establish a national health insurance program, while 32 percent said they opposed it, researchers reported in the journal Annals of Internal Medicine.

The 2002 survey found that 49 percent of physicians supported national health insurance and 40 percent opposed it.


When we finally figure it out that those who feed lies to the angry mobs have something to protect...then maybe we can have a serious discussion on the merits of health care for all people and "yes" include the voices of conservatives that want to promote a more cost effective system to cover all Americans...to me and i may be wrong in thinking that our current system is not really effective financially...or morally, but finding a compromise and real reform would be a step in the right direction ...again I can be wrong ...

Their sole purpose is to kill any and all health care changes proposed by the Obama administration. There is no other agenda than the destruction of Obama's presidency.

These same freaks started with trying to illegitimatize Obama by challenging his birth certificate, shouting "I want my country back" and other such rot.

Then unemployed floozies like Saracuda Palin start shouting about "death panels" presumably in regard to some ill-conceived notion that euthanasia was included in the draft of the bill, which it is not, and the largely racist, bigoted crowds cart out their phony pitchforks.

Enough is enough. The Rethuglicans lost the election, by a landside, and they will accept the changes being made, since the majorities in congress dictate that the right has no representative voice in congress anymore, thankfully. And either they will continue down the road of personal self-destruction, or they will change.
