My wife and I ate there over the Christmas holidays a couple of yrs ago, spur of the moment decision as I always wanted to try the place. We were on our way out to stay in Troy for the Pistons game the next day. I know the place is strictly an "event" restaurant geared to the Fox but literally 15 minutes after we sat down the entire restaurant emptied for the 8:00 show and we were the only ones left. Maybe that's why the service was so good. The veal was good too. I'm guessing Ilitch gave them a sweetheart deal on the rent for several yrs when there was really no other decent dining nearby.

Good place. Well run. Family owned-operated. Nice people.
