Default 1930 Police Patrolman in Detroit

I do genealogy and am interested in finding out about a relative of mine. In the 1930 census for Detroit, Wayne Co., Michigan --
Charles Swartz who was listed as a patrolman for the police was living with his wife Nellie. I've not found anything since 1930 about this cousin and would appreciate knowing anything about him or if someone could point me in a direction in which I could find more. Charles was 27 yrs. old at the time, being born about 1903. Thanks in advance.

Hi, Joetta. This should be posted in the Discuss Detroit part of this forum. More people will see it there. I don't think there are census records on line after 1930 but I will check. Do you have the address where he lived in 1930?

Thank you so much. Have any idea how I can fill in the gap between 1930 and when he died in 1971? I have the info about his brother Elmer but Charles & Nellie have seemed to have fallen through the cracks. Thanks again.
