Default 1940 Chop House/Emmanuel Stewart's Place Being Demolished

The building is currently being torn down. Does anybody know if something new is going in its place? Went to the 1940 Chop House on a date. My first big spending date. Ordered the Filet Mignon for the first time. Can't remember what she had. I even wore a red bow-tie and tuxedo shirt with a sharp black double-breasted suit that I owned. As an early 20-something, it was a big deal. Anybody else have some fond or not so fond memories?

I always knew it was about time to turn south whilst going to the Soup Kitchen.
