He must have gotten a union dentist.

Screw him. I bet EPU got him to the hospital lickety-split, no waiting for hours for EMS to show up like a regular citizen would have to.

We all go to the hospital from time to time, but Bing's lack of leadership and people skills combined with his old age really make him appear to be the dottering old man shuffling around the City County Building.

I guess this is his retirement, though, after bankrupting the company he ran he could help bankrupt the city it was in.

YES! I'm just positive Bing chose to bankrupt his company, so with that experience he could go on to bigger and better bankruptcies with the city.

I would think that Detroit was pretty much heading down that road long before Bing popped up.

I doubt his plan was to bankrupt his company, then the city. What financial sense does that make?

Btw, how many of the folks who believe that were all in support of a Trump presidency? Now there's a track record for bankrupting companies.

Of course Detroit has been on that road for a long time. And Bing is the wrong man at the wrong time.

The city is going to be out of cash in a month. I'm not sure what part of that he doesn't understand.

I don't think anybody intends to be a total fuckup, but he has sure done a bang-up job of it, outside of playing basketball.

Yeah it looks that way and you know what Bing is in excellent shape for his age. I don't know if he still plays tennis, but he keeps his weight down nicely.

To be fair about the bankrupty the smaller tier 1 and tier 2 automotive suppliers were going under left and right which of course was one of the reasons the gov't decided to bail out the automakers. In that sense it was no surprise that Bing's companies went under and I don't think it was an issue of him running it into the ground. I just don't think he has the vision and out the box thinking needed to survive in these difficult times, be it his companies or the city.

It wouldn't surprise me if Bing bails on the Mayor's office. The way things are going, he'll be a Mayor with no power and I'm sure he has no interest in serving in that role.

In layman's terms, it's called STRESS.

Life is more important than a political career. Hopefully Mr. Bing will be cognizant enough to approach his duties from now on with this in mind..

Yeah, one too many http's...thanks! You'd think if the software automatically added it, there would be a check to eliminate duplication.

    But they didn't ask me...heh...
