FYI - Detroit will be featured on this Tuesday's episode of Life after People on the History Channel.....I am sure the same buildings you have seen on this site....as if we need more media attention to our crumbling city.

Life After People : The Road to Nowhere Airs on Tuesday at 10:00 PM
The post-apocalyptic fate of our cars, planes and roads. Oil refineries turn into time bombs. In the Motor City, harsh northern winters dismantles auto headquarters. While in Texas, the Alamo succumbs to a new invader. Also, animals adapt: armadillos spread, some dogs rekindle their hunting instincts, and long-horn cattle flourish once again.

This is not a knock against the city....Hell they talked abnout the effects of life after people in places like NY, Cali, Russia, Vegas and anywhere with substantial populations and built up areas....

It simply shows whats would happen if people just simply vanished from the face of the earth...

Detroit Stylin....you're right....however in those episodes...they didn't have 100's of buildings that are already decayed to show.....in NY they showed North Brother Island and had only a handful of decayed buildings. That is the point I was making......that they have plenty of buildings to show. After all why did they pick Detroit's trainstation to film in Transfomers.....? Because we have the most and largest decayed buildings.....

Look Detroit, don't be so sensitive. You are only 300 years old. You had your share of after boom dark ages like so many other places, and you appear to be coming out of them. Don't be so ashamed with your past.
