Default St. Francis of Assisi pancake breakfast Feb. 19

St. Francis of Assisi in SW Detroit is a gorgeous old church, maybe as pretty as Ste. Anne or Sweetest Heart of Mary. They are having a pancake breakfast fundraiser Sunday Feb. 19, 10:00 - 1:00. Proceeds are going to a fund for a new roof, gutters, drains, etc.

That church sure is a beauty. My little brother and I used to take my mom down there for mass. Isn't the mass at 10:00 a.m.?

Yes, 10:00. I double checked on their web page.

Their new priest, who also is the priest for St. Hedwig is a very nice kind man, very different from his predecessor, who passed away unexpectedly last year.

I might try and make it if I can drag one of my heathen kids along.
