Default Republicans On Iraq, Keep Troops There

No, not all Republicans have said that, perhaps not even the majority, but if one were to play by the Fox News Rules, the headline certainly wouldn't be out of the question. The headline here spoke of how Mitt Romney called President Obama's pullout of troops from Iraq a failier when not all that long ago most of Fox New's talking heads were blasting the president for failing to end the Iraqi War. Why the double-talk now?

Political theatre, whatever the man in the white house is for, if I'm in the other party I'm against !

Romney should know that the Iraqi Parliament voted to remove all US troops by the end of 2011 way back during the Bush administration. Otherwise we would still be there. Obama tried to negotiate keeping them there longer but Iraq wanted to be able to imprison wayward American soldiers to allow US troops to stay longer. Obama didn't want to agree to that. If Romney was president now, he would have been faced with the same choices as OBama.
