Default WDET opening: producer for The Craig Fahle Show

WDET is looking for a producer for The Craig Fahle Show. The program is led by Joan Isabella.

The right candidate will be able to crank out segment ideas, book them, write tight, compelling preps and continuity, and have a strong sound orientation as you gather, edit and prep supporting audio for your segments. The candidate will have an appetite for on line and in person community engagement. CFS has a great deal of on line activity and it's a growing part of the show, so interest, aptitude and a digital trail are required.

WDET is a great place to work. we have an extraordinary benefit package that includes retirement matching, excellent health care and educational opportunities through Wayne State University. WDET is an innovation-focused, competitive environment where community engagement, creativity and bottom line results coexist.

Lost interest in WDET a LONG time ago, when it ended its musical programming. Shame on them then and forever after.

What a great job opportunity, doing something interesting and getting paid for it. I would think you would get a large number of applicants.

Craig Fahle has taken the radio discussion of all things Detroit to a new level. He has become our Charlie Rose.

Another opening? Just listening to CF right now, I learned that Noah Ovshinsky is working his last day today and is moving on to be a news director for Wisconsin Public Radio in Madison. Best wishes to him. He as always be quietly profession, never injecting his views into his reporting or trying to take over the stage. Truly a 'just the facts m'am' highly informative reporter.
