    Default Shopping health insurance

I'm shopping around for medical insurance. Does anyone have any suggestions for individual, self-employed coverage that isn't hideously expensive? Basically I'm looking for major medical to cover accidents/surgeries/big stuff, not every little rinkydink thing.

    TIA

I used HAP after I graduated and wasn't on university insurance anymore. No complaints and it was affordable. They covered an ER visit

Your best bet is to start shopping around the telephone pole and intersection signs. Or maybe a sign waver dressed as a kidney. That's where we have the Canadian health care system beat all to hell. They only wish they had dancing kidneys across the river.
