Ways to get more police into Detroit neighborhoods...

After watching Fox2, Andrea Isom report on an elderly woman being threatened with her life for removing gang graffiti from her house and garage, I wondered how the citizens of Detroit could get faster and more serious law enforcement in their neighborhoods.My idea is this, when a gang spray paints graffiti and symbols on property, concerned citizens should add a racial epithet to the message.For example, "Paint over this and die" becomes. " N...ggers paint over this and die"or any other racial epithet you prefer. If Detroit is covered in threatening racial epithets on peoples houses and garages maybe the FBI and DPD would feel a need to do something....Otherwise ordinary gangs symbols and signs dont garner enough interest for law enforcement to do anything.

I had the same idea.

The house across the street from my mom had been collecting RIP tags for a year. I've mentioned [[in another thread) that the saturation of red gear had become noticeable for over 2 years.

Recently she was an almost victim. I say almost because while the break in is still considered Home Invasion 1, the young man ran out when my grandmother screamed.

Where is the police work that can see the progression of these things? Not that I dont have respect for what they do. I just think as a "Police Force" DPD has been weighed, measured and judged lacking.

After hearing the same "Get a Dog" and "Light up the outside like a Christmas tree" spiel I got when my house was broken into, I was at a loss. I though if I'd sprayed "FUCK THE POLICE" on the garage 6 months ago, maybe they'd have shown a little more "engagement" with the young men in the neighborhood.

heheh...hang some nooses on the porch, anti semitic language would help too, spray paint the side walk with various defamatory language towards black people... This would get the FBI's attention real fast.Want a safer neighborhood?get spraying and hanging nooses.....
