Does anyone know the name of the jazzy flute interlude that was played during announcements or track listings? It also had soft congas for percussion and I know the Rose played it a lot and also uses it on her website www.hinesite5.com. I thought it might be something from Yusuf Lateef but so far no luck. It definitely has a 70s vibe. We really need a station like this on Detroit radio. I know advertisers favor the 18-25 crowd hence the proliferation of the rap stations but there is absolutely no full time jazz station which is ludicrous.

Well, I don't remember it, but add 70s + jazz + flute and I get Jean Pierre Rampal. Not sure about the drum beat though.

Could also be Herbie Mann [[if it has a Latin flavor) or Winsorite/Detroiter Alexander Zonjic.
