gosh, and how did that court packing thing turn out? You know, the plan where FDR tried to expand the size of the Supreme Court and fill it with his own people, that plan.
Yes, everyone knows about that. Given our present SCOTUS, it's not hard to understand FDR's frustration. But he was hardly the raving commie the righties paint him.
More of a corporatist really. If you are linked to the right union or business, you might do ok; get an exemption from Obamacare or qualify for a government contract depending... Cartels are great! You definitely don't want to be a GM dealer with a record of donating to Republicans, Japanese American, or part of another un-favored group in corporatist Amerika.
