Default On the Road to Detroit’s Big Pileup

Caught this in the New York Times today..... I don't know if this has been discussed here, but thought I'd put it out there.

    Based on an article:
Once Upon a Car: The Fall and Resurrection of America’s Big Three Automakers — G.M., Ford and Chrysler” by Bill Vlasic

Now a Book by Bill Vlasic.

I did not know that GM was so desperate, that they contacted Ford and wanted to join forces and merge.....that was GM's Idea, selfish as it was.

    What are your thoughts?
