Thread: The Bike Guy

    Default The Bike Guy

Anyone see that dude riding his bike east of the Ren Cen in the mornings? He's been doing it for years. He's an icon.

He has a coach's whistle, and blows into it while riding around no handed with his arms out like a soaring bird while Ren Cen commuters meander their way past him. Then he'll serpentine around and gyrate on his bike in a 70's Roller Boogie kind of way.

It's a little odd but not disruptive or anything of course.

Is there a story behind this guy at all?

I always knew spring was coming at WSU when this guy would come down Gullen Mall. Glad to hear he's still at it.

Is that old hippie guy with the last named Feldman still around? I have not seen him since the 80's!

I used to see the whistle guy when I lived in Capitol Park years ago.

I saw Nick outside a bikeshop in Harper Wds. before he died.
Remember he used to ride a lap around Belle Isle for every year of his life on his birthday?
