    Default Clark Street YMCA building

I swear I drove by the Clark Street YMCA across from Clark Park [[just south of Vernor) a couple weeks ago and found the usual overgrown neglected landmark I expected. Then this last week I drove by and it seems like a lot of the overgrown plants which had taken root along the front of the building had been removed or trimmed up. Anyone else notice this? Did someone decide to take on a little vigilante project or is there something real going on here?

That would be the YMCA Hannan Branch designed by Robert O. Derrick. It's located at E. Jefferson and Marquette, a bit kitty corner from Water Works Park.
