Are there any kind souls that would do a generous favor for a Detroit landmark? St. Albertus' parking lot sign faded years ago, but is still standing. It is a metal sign about 5-6' wide by 20" [[approximate) high. If someone could paint "St. Albertus Parking" on the sign it would be such an improvement. The sign is accessible by step ladder, my guess is it is about 9' in height.

I volunteer there on occasion doing yard maintenance and maintenance on the parking lot. St. Albertus was built around 1882. It closed as a parish in 1990 and is now operated by a non-profit organization called PAHSA.

If by any chance someone could freshen up the sign it would be yet another of the many improvements going on there. The budget is always in demand for high priority items to do with securing and weatherproofing the church and rectory.
