    Does anyone know if the course is closed permanently?

    From Friends of Belle Isle:

    "The golf course has been closed since 2008 but the City is hoping to be able to open it in the future."

    The driving range and practice facility however are open.

    Wait, aren't there two? One's on the edge of the island on the north side of the drive and the second one was on the inside across the intersection to the water slide. I saw people at the north side one during the boat races.
