    Default Piracy, Porn and BitTorrent

    http://www.seattleweekly.com/2011-08...cy-bittorrent/

"...In January 2010, Dunlap and Grubb trademarked the name US Copyright Group. Later that month, they filed the first large-scale copyright lawsuit against John Does in U.S. history, subpoenaing information about 749 IP addresses that had allegedly downloaded The Gray Man, a low-budget horror flick about a grandpa who cannibalizes children. Once they had the names and addresses of the presumed pirates, the lawyers mailed them a notice bearing the newly minted, official-looking seal of their US Copyright Group. The message made it clear that the John Does could do things the easy way or the hard way: fork over a settlement or risk getting slapped with a $150,000 judgment in federal court, plus the cost of attorneys' fees..."

    Not scarey.

I do all my torrents from bars/restaurants/unsecured wi-fi anyways. No sweat off my back.

I'm still the download idiot. But I've had co-workers who've had three computers downloading at once all night. He gave me 75 hours of Pron like it was nothing.

    Good question. Not me.

If they happen to have wi-fi, I might as well download some crap while I'm eating/getting drunk.

    What's 'pron'? LOL!

Hah, I'm one of those pay for stuff types. Heck I still actually 'purchase' songs from Itunes one song at a time. What a nerd - me. I do stream songs from web music sites while online.

Keep up the downloading and eventually your computer will come to a 'screeching' halt filled with viruses [[especially so on a PC running Explorer as your browser). Unless you're very savvy at keeping the grimlins away, that effort alone is quite time consuming.

I never take my laptop out when dining. It's the one time I can get away from a 'puter...
