I drove by the old Valenties store on Gratiot near Seven Mile, it appears to have just had a fire.
Anyone know when it was?
I didnt see it on the news.

I just took a look on Google Maps at the store on Yorkshire and Mack and noticed it does have the same "logo" [[the name Valente's written in cursive) as the one that's on the blue sign at the old Gratiot and 7 Mile location, so I have to assume it's the same store.

I drove by there a few days ago and didn't even notice. Sometimes I am in my own little world!

On a side note, I remember last year seeing one of those emergency demolition orders on the front of Valente's.

I didn't see it on the news either, but I noticed it last week. Looks like a collapse inside just waiting to happen.
