Default Does Anyone Know What This Building is?

Sorry the picture isn't that good [[I used my cell phone camera), but I was wondering if anyone knows what this building is? It is located next to a building that says Detroit Recreation Department Athletic Office [[located at 203 Mt. Elliott, near Mt. Elliott Park). I could not find the address of the building in question; however, I remember that above the front door was a stone that had 1871 engraved into it. Thank you!
