Thanks for sharing this! Good documentary. Is there a lot of Detroit techno at the TV bar? I go past there all the time but haven't been there yet... Is there a techno night there?

An excellent piece, thanks for sharing. It was missing two names that really were at the heart of the birth of techno in Detroit: Kraftwerk and Electrifying Mojo. Still, it's cool that Detroit has TWO musical genre's that it can be proud of: Motown and Techno.

You are correct, ortho. I think it's the sleeve to the "Computerwelt" German 12" by the masters. It was a small homage, but without them as inspiration, and Mojo actually playing local records [[it took 'JLB forever), techno might not have become as big as it did.
