Mighty Joe Young to 2011

Am I the only one who hated what the Disney Studios did to the re-make of "Mighty Joe Young"?
That tug of war scene with the stars of wrestling of the 40's was AWESOME. The Disney studios made it into Eco-friendly film to placate the masses.

Now - I have seen the trailer to the new "Planet of the Apes" and I'm enthralled. I have read "Ape House" and am into the handling of our closest relatives.

So - with the steroid enhanced multi-millionaires in pro sports, who would you like to see in that tug of war?

I concur with you on the excellence and greatness of the original Mighty Joe Young film.

The Disney very was horrible. It left out of the story the heart warming ending where the Joe saves children from a burning orphanage.
