Has anyone been paying attention to the DPD reporting as shown on Crimemapping.com? This system supposedly pulls data right from the DPD system. If that's the case then DPD is playing the system or is massively behind in their data entry.
So far for July - the combined number of homicides, sex crimes, and weapons crimes showing in the city? Two - two weapons crimes, that's it. All of June? Two weapons crimes. May? Two weapons crimes. April? One weapons crime. March? Two weapons crimes. February? Zero.
More burglaries, assaults, robberies, vehicle thefts, vandalism, etc. than you can shake a stick at but c'mon...

You need to open each individual report to see if a weapon was involved. The icon just shows really broad categories.

I wasn't implying no weapons were involved in other crimes, but shouldn't many of those crimes also include weapons charges?
