After the Seals gunned down Osama Bin Laden one mistake the USA didn't make was that of leaving his body behind to be buried and turned into a shrine.

Now Bavarians sickened by Rudolph Hess' grave site being a pilgrimage place for Neo-nazi from across Europe have followed that cue.

A church official in the southern town of Wunsiedel said on Thursday[Hess'] tomb had been razed and its headstone removed after consulting with Hess's family over how to handle the grave site.

"The bones were removed and brought to the crematorium, and the ashes are to be scattered at sea," Peter Seisser said.

It sounds like the family was equally annoyed by all the attention. It's hard to oppose family wishes. Smart play.

Maybe some strategy like this could sideline that obscenity called the Westboro Baptist Church. On the other hand, they don't seem to care about family wishes.
