Listened to the GR Police radio scanner traffic last night

By the time I started listening the hostage situation after the chase was just starting and the police had the house surrounded. I don't remember what time it was but I had it on in the background through to the end. It was intense, to say the least!

I'll not do that again if I can keep myself from getting wrapped up in coverage. None of the tv showboaters or talking heads can match that wicked reality.

I doubt I could ever go back to living in a house where something like that happened to me. How could you ever feel safe again?
