Default Book Burning Party! [Troy Library satirical action]

Since all this sad news about libraries closing has had no effect on peoples' voting habits [[or lack there of), it seems someone in Troy has started a satirical Colbert-like campaign to Close the Library, and have a book burning party!

Clud have 2 rock. Clud get 2 more rock. How many rock Clud have?

    First addition.

We need our libraries. They should not be subject to general fund carving. We need to get serious about education, especially science and math. Libraries are a cornerstone of learning. India had a 10-20 yr plan to educate and it's paying off in spades. What is our 10-20 yr plan?

I think it's to cut taxes incessantly until there are no public services left that can't turn a profit

Even in jest, this just sends chills in my spine. I have the images of SS Troopers marching and burning books and paintings forever in my memory thanks to the History Channel.

Now, It's the christian fundamentalists doing the same thing in the name of they're god.

"Burn the b****," screamed one angry ex-fan as he threw a triple-platinum Dixie Chicks CD into what he later explained as "their earthly hellfire" in a Dallas, TX protest. 1300 people attended the event and brought all of their Dixie Chicks paraphernalia to add to the fire. Shouts of disgust echoed off nearby buildings as "Let 'Er Rip" played symbolically in the background, before they burned that CD too."
