Default A Couple Summertime Skyline shots

Tonight was a beautiful evening. I headed out to Chicago's North Ave beach during sunset. The city also does fireworks every Wednesday and Saturday on the lakefront. They are pretty good, but I was far away I didn't get the full enjoyment.

    Streeterville Neighborhood

Near North Neighborhood getting a new residential highrise. The Chicago skyline was nearly frozen in place for 3 years during the recession. Since then over a dozen new residential skyscrapers have begun construction.

    Fireworks

Not a night shot, but I snagged this from my rooftop of a new school that just opened up. It replaced a smaller school building in the 1950's/60's. Best of all, the parking is hidden away underground!!
