An email from my state rep. said that last session the Dems once again proposed a bill that would require full disclosure of income and sources of campaign contributions, but it went nowhere. The Dem Caucus is planning to submit the same bill again.

After losing my job and insurance while recuperating from emergency surgery, they dropped me like a hot potato. No surgeon, no nurses, and any GP would have anything to do with me without insurance. And that was with an ongoing medical problem. But they DO run up the bills when you have insurance !

I'm sure there are a lot of dedicated health professionals, but I've only met just a few in my 56 years.
