    Default Honest cops need to be recognized

    There needs to be more positive reinforcement around here for being an honest cop just so that authority can come down on bad cops harder and drive corruption out of the local corps.

    I can't even begin to say what I think about casual lowlifes like this one:

    This guy was caught taking cocaine or heroin out of the vault of police HQ in 1983. He was the head of the drug squad;

    She needs to be fired if she is found guilty of stealing money from the flower fund. Police officers, like the politicians in Detroit, need to be above reproach. It's not just the police that need to come down on bad cops, it's the entire City leadership that needs to be thrown out and started over again...it doesn't seem like there are too many honest people around anymore does it.

    Cheers to all you honest cops! When you see me, I owe you a drink or a coney, or both.
